I went for a vampy (but not sparkly I'm afraid - we vamps aren't all Twilight-worthy!) sort of look with different textures and hints of burgundy. Perhaps it's slightly gothic? What do you think?
Oh yes, that infamous looking-down shot.
Lil' bit o' flash
This picture does not do the shoes' beauty justice!
Mid shot of the outfit.
I know the photography's not the best, but I'm definitely using the SLR next time (why did you even use this camera this time Louise?) And natural light I should think, the days are getting longer after all!And... I'm proud to tell you that most of this outfit is vintage/charity shop, except the tights, shoes and camisole. The shoes are by Ravel (I found them in the sale in a beautiful little boutique in my town in Guernsey. Oh yeah... I haven't mentioned my location as of yet, I live in the tiny island of Guernsey - 11 by 7 miles if I'm not mistaken, which I could well be). The tights are from M&S (not the height of quality I hasten to add - there's already a hole in the foot part *sigh*).
The jacket is a vintage velvet jacket, belonging to my grandmother in the 1940s and the blouse and skirt are also vintage from the 70s, I believe they were my mother's before I was born. And the bag was a lucky find in a charity shop and cost me a mere £5. A very affordable outfit, that's for sure!
Hope you are all having a pleasant day, and enjoying the new year - the most wonderful time of the yearrrrrr~ (or is that Christmas? I just love January!)
How are you guys doing with your new year resolutions?
Take care,
Louise <3
