Belated Merry Christmas!

It's Louise (well who else would be it be?)

This blog was launched on the 1st January 2013, but I had been planning it since early December and wanted to show you my Christmas Eve outfit and some Christmas goings-on (I hope you don't mind!).

Christmas Eve was a lovely, relaxing day where I browsed t'internet and decorated and ate to my heart's content (hello 2-stone weight gain by the new year); I really had a great time. I hung out (oh yeah, we use all the modern language now) with my family, wrapped presents and listened to Christmas songs also (simply haaaaaving a wonderful Christmas time). If you follow my Lookbook you'll have seen this outfit, but I think it's nice (and helpful for those who don't have Lookbook?) to show it here too. I tried to add some festivity with the red and woolly-ness... Here we go (again):

My "cute" (as cute as I be!) pose for Christmas wishes <3 I hope you all had a wonderful Christmas!

I didn't realise quite how well my hair matches my hat and scarf until now ('tis my fault for randomly dyeing my hair purple - that's what you get, Louise)

Bit o' festive red

Close up of the jumper/scarf combo~

The hat I'm wearing is from Fat Face (got it last year in the post-Christmas sales - £25 down to a tenner *super bargain alert*) and the scarf is from Topshop, along with the jumper. The bit of red visible is actually part of a vintage red and white dress (ooh, tres Christmassy) and the tights (exciting, I know) are from Dorothy Perkins. Finally - the shoes are from boohoo.com.

Christmas was lovely, and I took some photos, so here they are!

The kitchen at Christmas time, decked with bows of holly, tralalala (that's the closest I ever get to singing - internet singing is the best - no one can hear me).

Our dear turkey, before we ate him, and boy, was he delicious (no pun intended!)

Our Christmas tree! I really love it, so full of tinsel (I don't care if it's tacky, which it kinda is) and many different decorations (I think it gives it character!).

I had a wonderful Christmas and I hope you did too!

How was your Christmas? Did you get anything nice?

Take care,
Louise <3
