Chichester has been great this semester and I'm doing pretty well in my studies (Theology and English Literature), and really enjoying the course! Chichester has some lovely vintage shops and recently I went to a vintage market and bought some vintage dungarees as well as a shirt for a pretty decent price. My favourite (though it is rather expensive) vintage shop in Chi (as the students call it) is called the One Legged Jockey, and I found some great pieces there. The charity shops are more expensive than Guernsey ones, however they have some awesome pieces - a pair of sparkly Betty Barclay jeans and a Topshop oversized shirt.
I came home on the 13th December with my boyfriend, Alex, who I've been with for a year and four months and it's great to be home, but I do miss the independence of being at University. I actually did a Uni Room Tour on my Youtube Channel which you can view here and a vlog or two. I should be doing a few more vlogs in the New Year in Chi but I left my camera at Uni, so none for now (these photos are taken on my Dad's Nikon D7000)
Christmas is a great family time and we now have a new member of the family featured at the end of this post...
My sister and I decorated the Christmas tree - our idea of decorating is more like throwing armfuls of tinsel at the tree and adorning it with every bauble in the house! But I love our overdecorated Christmas tree!
I love our Grandfather clock in our dining room, it's an antique we bought from a neighbour when they were clearing out their house. It doesn't work, but it's still absolutely beautiful.
My mother looks slightly sinister in this picture, but she's lovely really, and very busy cooking for the big day tomorrow!
This is Ruby, the Vivian's little black and white Shih Tzu puppy, she's lovely but very mischievious and loves to steal Christmas presents from under the tree and chew shoelaces.
In other news, I now have a septum piercing and brown hair! Who'd have thought it?? Alex is not too pleased with the piercing but I think he's pretty pleased with the natural hair colour. I'll be doing my New Year's round up for my next post so look forward to that.
Also I have a new name for my blog for the New Year - Fashion Museum, as my style is mostly vintage and my general style is from the past, as Alex would say! I'm still working on the look of the blog, but I hope you will like the finished look. I'm thinking white and grey... Anyway!
I hope you have a wondeful, happy and peaceful Christmas! God bless!
Louise <3
